Missions

Service :

Since its creation, Amundi has made social and environmental responsibility one of its four founding pillars. Today, Amundi manages €769 billion of Responsible Investment (RI) assets under management[1], that incorporate environmental, social, and governance (ESG) factors.

The ESG Development team within the Responsible Investment business line (approximately 60 people) contributes to the achievement of Amundi's business development objectives for the Division. These objectives are set out in the Amundi Group's 2025 ESG Ambitions and are reflected in the business plans of institutional and retail client divisions. Based internationally and in Paris, the unit contributes to the implementation of ESG-related advisory, product development, ESG integration support in investment management, marketing and communication actions on domestic and international markets in collaboration with the sales, investment platforms, and marketing departments of Amundi's various client divisions.

The unit aims to accelerate the development and promotion of Amundi's ESG solutions and services internally and for different client segments.


Missions :

The ESG Investment Specialist trainee will support the ESG Development team and will contribute in the following duties:

 

►       Contribution to the commercial development of ESG solutions and services

–     Identify the needs of Amundi's client divisions in collaboration with the sales & marketing teams

–     Support the development of Amundi's ESG solutions offering in collaboration with investment management platforms

–     Solution proposals for client or prospect meetings on climate, net zero, and impact topics

–     ESG Expertise contribution to RFP (Request for Proposals) / RFI (Requests for Information)

 

►       Creation of ESG content and materials

–     Creation of clients’ pitchbooks, in collaboration with the relevant management and support teams: standard and bespoke slide decks, ESG solution and/or expertise brochures.

–     Ensure the distribution and promotion of ESG materials to the sales teams via the appropriate channels (meetings, emails, Intranets, etc.)

 

►       Research and analysis on ESG trends and emerging topics

–     Competitive intelligence on key ESG topics such as climate change, net zero, Sustainable Development Goals, biodiversity, emerging market, impact investing

–    Research and analysis of ESG related publications from various sources (initiatives, regulation, etc.)

Niveau d'études minimum

Formation / Spécialisation

Spécialisation :

Responsible investment, sustainability, economics, finance, or an inter-disciplinary major

Niveau d'expérience minimum

0 - 2 ans

Compétences recherchées

  • Good level of understanding of finance or a desire to learn. Previous work or internship experience in sustainability, marketing, communication or project management is a plus
  • Technical knowledge on climate change, biodiversity, Sustainable Development Goals is a plus
  • Strong organizational skills, pro-active, problem solving mindset, team spirit as well as the ability to work in an autonomous way.
