Job summary

We are seeking a dynamic and results-oriented leader to join our team as Director Head of Implementation (m/f/d) within Global Services for Amundi Technology Wealth/aixigo AG.
In this pivotal role, you will lead and manage our Implementation Team, organized around 5 Chapters (Project Management, Business Analyst, Architects, Developer, Quality Assurance). The overall team size is +60 employees across locations in Germany & France. Your focus will be on managing and developing our workforce, delivering high-quality implementation services, driving customer satisfaction, and contributing to our company's growth and profitability.

Your job – Your passion

  • Define and articulate a compelling vision and strategy for the Implementation team that supports the broader goals of client satisfaction and delivery excellence within global services
  • Collaborate closely with the global services leadership to establish team objectives and measurable KPIs that align with organizational priorities
  • Lead and manage Chapter leads as well as the wider implementation workforce, ensuring effective oversight and strategic direction
  • Drive headcount and budget prioritization, contributing actively to recruitment planning to support the company’s growth journey
  • Take ownership of recruiting, onboarding, and training processes to integrate new talent smoothly and effectively
  • Work hand-in-hand with the Delivery Operations & Governance team to define and roll out consistent standards across teams and chapters
  • Foster an environment that encourages people development, knowledge sharing, and continuous upskilling to ensure project readiness
  • Act as a strategic liaison for client engagement leads during sales and implementation phases, cultivating and sustaining strong client relationships
  • Ensure appropriate team allocation for client projects by assessing needs and collaborating with client engagement leads to guarantee satisfaction
  • Champion a culture of collaboration, innovation, and improvement across internal departments, while promoting financial accountability through performance tracking, reporting, and QA processes

Candidate criteria

Minimal education level

Bachelor Degree / BSc Degree or equivalent

Academic qualification / Speciality

  • A Bachelor's degree in computer science, information technology, business, IT management, project management, or a related field; a Master's degree is preferred or demonstrable professional experience
  • Certifications in project management (e.g., PMP) and relevant software technologies are a plus

Level of minimal experience

6-10 years

  • You have proven experience in a leadership roles within the software implementation or professional services domain
  • You have a proven ability to develop and execute strategic plans to achieve team goals
  • You have proven experience in leading and developing an international workforce as well as federating teams across locations

Required skills

  • You obtain strong project management skills and are familiar with project management methodologies (e.g., Agile, Scrum) and software and project management tools (e.g., JIRA, Microsoft Project)
  • You have excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both in German and English, with the ability to interact effectively with clients and cross-functional teams, French is a plus
  • You convince with your in-depth knowledge of the software industry, software development processes, and emerging technologies
  • You have exceptional problem-solving and decision-making abilities
