Who we are looking for
The role of Investment Specialist within Amundi can be articulated around two main areas of activities: Production, Articulation & Client Interaction.
-
Production activities see the Investment Specialist team delivering information and material around the products and portfolios under their responsibility. - Prepare, enrich and keep the material up to date
- Produce and update high quality portfolio reporting (presentation material, performance commentaries, ad-hoc material) in conjunction with the rest of the IS team.
- In response to queries on portfolios or expertises, prepare and/or analyse portfolio historical data extracts / management comments / answers to “easy” queries, etc…
- Assist investment specialists, fund managers and analysts in handling client inquiries, follow-up with client requests, work with RFP teams on RFPs and maintain and improve tools used by the IS team for their periodic activity.
- Provide clients and prospects with on-going updates about market views, investment strategy, positioning and performance under the direction of senior staff.
- Contribute to the creation of investment communications content to support the marketing and distribution of the company’s products and services – including but not limited to white papers, ad-hoc focus or opinion pieces, presentation material and regular commentaries etc…
- To keep track of all the management comments / performance attributions / dedicated reviews / bespoke reports to be produced by the IS team as well their respective deadlines to try to ensure the best possible quality of service
- Support internal management communication around key business initiatives and updates
- Ensure that all marketing material complies with the existing regulations From time to time, the position might require employees to perform operational tasks such as data download and analysis, contribute to the drafting of legal documentation
- Articulation & Client Interaction activities include interacting directly with internal and external stakeholders to communicate on portfolio activities, seeking to grow and retain assets with existing and prospective clients.
- The successful candidate will be expected to be ready, by the end of their VIE contract, to:
- Own the message about capabilities under coverage
- Develop the marketing identity
- Assist sales with ad-hoc requests for information about the strategies under coverage
- Support product development initiatives
- Contribute to the creation of investment communications content to support the marketing and distribution of the company’s products and services
- Support internal management communication around key business initiatives and updates
- At all time, the Investment Specialists team adheres to existing procedures and regulations and complies with local specific regulations and corporate policy

As a result, V.I.E status is subject to specific conditions concerning age, nationality or tax residence.
