Overall Purpose of the Job:
Conduct ESG research and analysis on one or several sectors and themes and engage with corporates in association with financial analysts, and fund managers. Forster ESG integration in consistency with global ESG strategy. Represent Amundi expertise on selected theme and/or sectors
Main Accountabilities:
- Identify, assess and quantify ESG trend and issues that have effects on the business of sectors, companies, agencies, state or on their risk profile. Publish thematic and/or company researches,
- Engage with corporates to share best practices and foster improvement on specific ESG issues
- Oversee the qualitative analysis of companies on one or several identified sectors or geography
- Work with financial analysts and fund managers to enable them to better integrate ESG analysis in the investment decisions and processes
- Contribute to Global ESG strategy and scoring model adjustments when relevant by deep knowledge of sector corporates, practices, key material issues and indicators, progress measurement
- Publish on demand analysis on instruments, themes, or companies / produce supporting work for stewardship & research
- Support local stewardship activities to comply with the Japanese stewardship code
Candidate should have a Japan working visa or not be restricted from working in Japan.
MA / MSc Degree or equivalent
