Job summary

A hands-on HRIS / HR operations and automation VIE role supporting HR digitalization, data quality, and regional HR reporting. The role combines operational HR systems maintenance, automation projects (UiPath), FTE reporting & forecasting, and cross-jurisdiction governance to ensure consistent HR data and processes across local, regional, and HQ systems.

HR Systems & Support: Operate, maintain, and support core HR systems across the Asia region. Ensure organizational data consistency and provide first-level support and training to local and regional teams.

HR Reporting: Prepare and deliver monthly HR updates, dashboards, and KPIs aligned with company strategy.

Automation & Digitalization: Develop, test, and deploy UiPath (RPA) robots to automate HR processes such as onboarding and offboarding. Collaborate with IT, Finance, and Admin on cross-functional automation and digitalization projects. Analyze HR processes to identify and implement digital improvements.

AI and Digital Tools: Use prompt engineering and scripting to support recruitment and CV screening. Maintain and update VBA code for automation and reporting. Monitor emerging HR technologies and propose innovative solutions for continuous improvement

 

Supplementary Information

Position placed within the Asia HR team, based in the Amundi Hong Kong office. The HR VIE reports to the Chief HR Officer, Asia, and works closely with HR Generalists, HR Operations, and Country HR teams across markets in Mainland China, Hong Kong, Malaysia, Singapore Taiwan, and Thailand.

The role acts as a regional contact point for HRIS, automation, and reporting activities, with regular coordination and reporting to Amundi HQ and Group HQ (CASA), and frequent interaction with local Amundi Hong Kong teams (including Finance, Admin, IT, and Compliance).

Postgraduate degree – MA/MSc/PhD/Doctorate or equivalent

Academic qualification / Speciality

Education / Specialization: Higher education diploma (business or engineering school, IEP, post-graduate degree), specializing in Human Resources

Experience: Beginner or with first experience in HR, Asset Management or Banking.

Technical & analytical

  • Strong data management mindset with high attention to detail and data quality control

  • Practical; experience or strong interest in automation (UiPath or other RPA), process mapping and optimization
  • Familiarity with HR processes (recruitment, onboarding/offboarding, leave management, comp review)

  • Excel (advanced): pivot tables, advanced formulas, data cleansing – Advanced
  • Basic VBA (Microsoft programming language) knowledge to maintain code
  • AI tools is a plus (prompt engineering, agents)

Languages

Fluency in English is mandatory French, Mandarin and Cantonese would be appreciated
