Job summary

We are looking for a Data Management Specialist who wants to grow his/her capabilities within a dynamic and challenging environment.

The Data Management Specialist will work in the Finance department, as part of the team Sales Analysis and Financial Reporting.

The function will analyze a large set of structured data in order to feed and monitor the local Sales Reporting data warehouse. Activities mainly consist of:

  • uploading data flows (AUM and Sales) coming from external and internal providers in order to feed the local Sales Reporting data warehouse;
  • analyzing data flow generation, verifying data completeness and figures consistency by product and channel for legal and managerial AuM;
  • mapping of new products and sales channels as well as all the related attributes required by Group reporting and external communications (eg. Assogestioni);
  • setting-up regular reporting to local Management, Salesforce and Investment teams;
  • supporting the team in carrying out periodic activities related to the production of sales reports for local and global stakeholders;
  • dealing with process automation for customized solutions and query designing

He/she will also perform deep dive analysis into data sets and reports to identify problems or suspected issues with collected data.

The function will cooperate with the team to evaluate data quality and recommend improvements in order to increase speed of delivery and smart solutions.

As a Sales Analysis and Financial Reporting member, he/she will use a variety of tools (SAP Business Object, Tableau, Microsoft BI tools) to profile and visualize data, developing reports, dashboards, and recurring analysis for leadership.

Minimal education level

Postgraduate degree – MA/MSc/PhD/Doctorate or equivalent

Academic qualification / Speciality

Master degree in Economics/Mathematics

Approximately 2-3 years of work experience within an asset management, banks, other financial intermediaries

Required skills

• Experienced with Microsoft Excel and Power Point
• Good knowledge of SAP Business Object, Tableau, Microsoft BI tools
• Appreciated Knowledge of Visual Basic, SQL
• Analytical abilities, precision, an attitude toward problem-solving
• Goal-oriented approach
• Good team player and proactive
