Who we are looking for
The successful candidate will manage the day-to-day attribution process in the Dublin office and will be one of the main contacts for Investments, Client Services, Sales & Marketing and other key internal personnel with regards to monthly client reports and RFP requests. Responsible for providing accurate portfolio analytics and analysis in a timely manner for all products and accounts.
Why this role is important to us
You will be joining the Performance Attribution team in our Dublin office, responsible for producing ex-post performance reporting on Dublin managed portfolios. Performance attribution is an important analytical tool designed to provide insights to our investment teams and clients into how investment decisions have influenced results. You will be working closely with investment analysts, portfolio managers, and other client facing teams to deliver performance reports for both internal analysis and existing or prospective clients.
What you will be responsible for
- Responsible for producing attribution reports in a timely and accurate manner.
- Work closely with investment personal to assist and add value to the day-to-day investment process
- Learning about investment strategies and leveraging this knowledge in order to properly analyze, report, and maintain investment performance.
- Work as liaison between sales & marketing and investments to ensure daily and periodic comparisons of fund attribution are accurately represented and any anomalies are duly analyzed.
- Responsible for producing attribution reports for internal & external client requests.
- Work with client portfolio manager to identify the drivers of performance within a portfolio.
- Manage the internal performance measurement system and continue its development, including creation of tailored amendments to standard Factset reports as required by management.
- Actively review operational and data issues (e.g. pricing, cash flows and benchmarks) to ensure accurate performance attribution.
- Maintain communication at all times and manage expectations of Portfolio Managers, Distribution and Other Key Internal Departments.
- Reconciliation of performance/contribution/attribution between systems.
- Carry out attribution controls to ensure accuracy of performance data prior to distribution.
- Continual review and enhancement of procedures and processes, around firm attribution, to identify areas of risk and increase efficiencies.
