Job summary

Who we are looking for

The successful candidate will work closely with Automation Lead on Automation Test Strategies for various types of products within Amundi Asset Management. They will work closely with BA, QA and Dev teams to derive the automation requirements. They will develop/maintain automation test framework, test suites, prepare test plan & estimation, executing test suite, reporting results & manage defects.

The Test Automation Engineer will have the opportunity to work with the QA Team to improve the quality of applications.   There is also the opportunity to instil best testing practices across the organisation and to help change culture and drive change across the organisation 

 

What you will be responsible for

Work closely with Automation Lead to develop and own effective automated test suites for a number of products including Web and Standalone applications.

  • Create Test Scenarios in BDD and transform in to Automation Tests.
  • Automation Script Development & Review
  • Educate teams on the suggested frameworks/approaches and instill best practices
  • Test Data Management
  • Maintain existing JAVA framework by feature improvements
  • Maintain existing Full Regression Packs with the help of QA team, BA team &        Dev team
  • Help in troubleshooting bugs
  • Send Daily, Weekly status reports to QA Manager and IT Teams
  • Delivery & Status Reporting
  • Highlight Project issue and risk escalation
  • Configuration management

Minimal education level

Bachelor Degree / BSc Degree or equivalent

Academic qualification / Speciality

Education & Preferred Qualifications
•A third level qualification in a systems or business related discipline is desirable
•Good exposure to Test Rail/JIRA
•Experience with automating JAVA applications
•Strong knowledge of Test Automation Management tools for Java Clients & Web Clients
•Strong Knowledge of Test Data Management tools
•Good knowledge of Source Control
•Build and Release Management Tool as well as a solid understanding of the underlying languages especially Java

Required skills

What we value for the role

  • Coding Language: Java / Java Script/VB Script (preferred) experience 3+ years
  • Previous experience in building and setting up Automation frameworks
  • Experience in Full stack environment including – Test, Code, Build, Environment, Artifactory and Defect Management.
  • Experience in API, Web application and Standalone application Test Automation.
  • Experience in Selenium Web-driver, Selenium Grid, Java competencies and (Preferable) other Test Automation tools like Unified Functional Testing (UFT)
  • Automation Test Analysis, Automation Feasibility, Planning & Estimation techniques
  • Ability to work in Agile environment
  • A history of working to tight project schedules and delivering successfully
  • Quick learner and able to understand complex financial domain and systems.
  • Motivated, enthusiastic individual with ability to work on own initiative
  • Ability to grasp and work with financial and newly developed in-house applications as well as overall understanding of system development lifecycles
  • Comfortable working alongside both business users and IT technical staff.
