Job summary

The IT department consists of IT software development and IT infrastructure. The IT software development team is responsible for the planning, implementation, maintenance and user support of specific local and global applications. As part of the “Central Europe Region”, the team also supports other countries in the region and works on regional and international projects.

 

Our main tasks can be summarized as follows:

  • Regional Support of the global application platform (ALTO)
  • Maintenance and further development of Python applications in close cooperation with global departments
  • Participation in all areas of the software development life cycle
  • Use of GitLab, Jira and Confluence
    Cooperation and collaboration in an international IT team

Minimal education level

Postgraduate degree – MA/MSc/PhD/Doctorate or equivalent

Academic qualification / Speciality

Finance / IT
Master degree in finance and/or SW engineering

Internship in asset management or financial institutions related to IT

Required skills

  • Strong verbal and written communications skills
  • Good financial instruments and Investment management business process knowledge are appreciated working autonomously, being enthusiastic and interested in Investment Management and IT

Technical skills required

  • Good knowledge of SW development skills (Python preferred)
  • Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office (PowerPoint, Excel, Word) suite of applications

Languages

English: Fluent German: nice to have
