Who we are looking for

This dual role will suit an energetic person who enjoys working within a fast-paced trading environment with a background and experience in financial services. 

 

The primary focus of the Market Integrity role is to ensure adherence with the compliance-monitoring programme, using tools and processes implemented to maintain compliance with relevant Regulations, primarily MiFID II and Market Abuse Regulations. 

 

This role will require ongoing review of investment trading activity and controls, including regular interaction with the trading team, and occasionally with Portfolio Managers.

 

The primary focus of the Threshold Crossing role is the monitoring of Amundi aggregated holdings in individual stocks and the reporting of threshold limits to issuers and relevant regulators.

Dublin is a key trading hub for the Amundi Group and it is also where the Group’s Threshold Crossing monitoring and reporting activities are based.  Both activities are critical elements of Amundi Group’s activities.  

 

The Market Integrity and Threshold Crossing roles are based within the Compliance function in Dublin and play an essential role in ensuring compliance with Amundi policies and the highest regulatory standards.  

 

What you will be responsible for 

 

The role will be a combined one, split between Market Integrity and Threshold Crossing 

 

Market Integrity

  • Performance of monitoring controls including investigations.
  • Support the monitoring framework to ensure compliance with Market Abuse Regulations and trade surveillance requirements under MiFID II.
  • Ensure all relevant Trade Surveillance registers, reports and processes are maintained to a high standard and issues are escalated to Compliance management.
  • Perform ongoing monitoring of Best Execution on trading performed locally, and oversight on trading performed globally for Amundi Ireland activities.
  • Maintain the compliance registers to the standard expected of Central Bank of Ireland.
  • Assist in the update of relevant Market Integrity policies and procedures and ensure the implementation of policies and processes as required.
  • Contribute to compliance projects / business initiatives as and when required

Threshold Crossing

  • Analysis of Threshold Crossing alerts on listed securities generated by Amundi’s system
  • Disclosure of the Threshold Crossings to the issuers and / or regulators when verified
  • Liaison across a wide range of Amundi Group entities and global functions   
  • Ensure a regulatory watch all over the jurisdictions (by means of alerts received from the legal counsel)

Candidate criteria

Minimal education level

Bachelor Degree / BSc Degree or equivalent

Academic qualification / Speciality

Education & Preferred Qualifications

  • Minimum 5+ years’ experience in Financial Services preferably with exposure to Asset Management
  • Experience / Knowledge of MIFID II and MAR an advantage.
  • Strong knowledge of Financial Instruments
  • Excellent Excel skills.
