Who we are looking for
We are looking for a seasoned investor that is passionate about markets and generating returns to join our growing team of Investment professionals at Amundi Ireland Limited. The role is based in our Dublin Investment hub within the Large Cap European Equity team.
Why this role is important to us
The Large Cap European Equity team manages approx. 10b AuM and is comprised of 4 people in Dublin and 3 people in Paris, headed by Fabio Di Giansante, Head of Large Cap European Equities. The team manages flagship Funds such as Amundi Euroland Equities and Sustainable Top European players. The team is actively working on developing new products while embedding ESG into their Investment process. This is an exciting time to join a growing and successful team.
What you will be responsible for
Investment
- Manage/Co-manage one or several accounts with the intention of generating absolute and/or relative return depending on product innovation pipeline for the team
- May assist Senior PM with major accounts for portfolio construction & Risk Budgeting or equivalent
- Interacting with other team members to identify and implement investment ideas. Adapt ideas & risk to specific strategies
- Produce and share investment cases within the teams
- Constantly improve & rigorously apply shared investment process (risk allocation, Risk Budgeting & portfolio construction)
- Study the relevant markets. Be knowledgeable of all first hand internal research, contributing to research enhancement & coverage by actively engaging with the analysts on their sector of expertise
- Produce detailed analysis of economic fundamentals, and select the best yield curve strategy
- Select equities according to valuation framework and risk-return perspective and input from sector analyst
- Make the relevant buy or sell decisions
- Study and use quantitative tools to optimize the portfolio allocation and monitor risk
- Constructs models according to instrument requirements
- Become involved in the entire investment process and portfolio building
- Attend meetings, participate in discussions and decisions both internally (among the European equity team members, among different desks and with our sector analysts) and externally (with company management, analysts, brokers etc.)
- Develop and maintain risk control within the area
- Perform activity in a legal and compliant manner
- Actively collaborate with colleagues across locations
- Actively share investment ideas, research, market views etc with colleagues
Business /Commercial
- Might be involved in activities to support business, product development & sales support
- Support Asset Gathering effort as required
