We are seeking for a Senior Responsible Investment Specialist to join our Responsible Investment Development team as Blended & Development Finance Lead, offering an exceptional opportunity to lead the development of one of Amundi strategic Responsible Investment (RI) development axes and make a meaningful contribution to the development of Amundi RI business across investment platforms, business divisions and geographies.

 As a Senior Responsible Investment Specialist, you will be playing a key role in our responsible investment business development. You will lead client engagement and advisory, contribute to investment product and solutions’ design and play a leadership role in blended and development finance. In that capacity, you will develop strategic partnerships and steer Amundi development across the various dimensions of blended and development finance (mobilization of private capital towards high-impact objectives, contribution to just transition and inclusive growth objectives, public-private investment structures, risk-sharing mechanisms, etc.) in close coordination with Amundi Public Sector and Investment Solutions teams.

You will be joining the RI Development & Advocacy hub within the Responsible Investment Division, and be involved in key development opportunities and strategic relationships that may include frequent travels, speaking opportunities and client engagement.

 Primary Responsibilities

-       Responsible Investment & Blended and Development Finance Business development: Work with Investment, Sales, and Marketing teams to develop and win RI & Blended and Development Finance opportunities, including RFI/RFPs, client pitches, due diligence, innovative RI & Blended Finance products engineering, solutions’ design and services.

-       Responsible Investment & Blended Finance advisory: Deliver strategic guidance and tailored solutions for professional clients, supporting their responsible investment goals and strengthening Amundi’s RI & Blended Finance leadership.

-       Strategic initiatives: Lead key projects that position RI & Blended and Development Finance as a driver for Amundi’s growth, differentiation, and long‑term value creation, actively support Amundis’ Blended and Development Finance structuring and sales activities.

-       Integration & implementation: Contribute to the evolution of RI procedures, processes, investment methodologies, and cross‑platform collaboration to strengthen integration and support regulatory alignment (SFDR, EU Taxonomy, MiFID II, AMF, and other national frameworks) and enhance client value propositions.

-       Knowledge development & thought leadership: Develop and deliver training, tools, and insights on responsible investment for internal and external audiences. Represent Amundi at industry events to enhance visibility and influence in RI & Blended and Development Finance field.

The RI Development and Advocacy team is a 16+ international team based in Amundi key investment hubs, supporting Amundi RI growth and business development across business lines and investment platforms.

Key Competencies

-       Prior work experience in investment management, banking or strategic consultancy with proven client engagement capabilities.

-       Business development skills, entrepreneurial, dynamic, rigorous, and reactive, with strong analytical skills and autonomy.

-       Excellent interpersonal, project management, written, and oral communication

-       Knowledge of Blended and Development Finance, and adjacencies in emerging markets investment strategies, impact, private assets, etc.  

-       Excellent oral skills, ability to engage client at strategic level, and represent Amundi in public forums.
