Role Overview
 

Amundi has an opportunity for a Senior IT Support Analyst with investments management industry experience to join the Dublin-based Application Management team responsible for Daily Support for our Internal OMS, Risk Budgeting and Performance Systems.  Support is also provided to external Clients using Amundi Systems.

 

Principal Tasks

  • Consistently deliver superior client service and initiate/lead continuous improvement processes that will result in the prevention of potential problems and/or fix shortcomings within existing applications and contribute to improving service and operational excellence to our users.
  • Provide subject matter expertise and use of incident/problem management skills in the daily production of Support of a wide variety of asset types including Derivatives
  • Provide in-depth 1st/2nd line application support for production issues from initial contact through to resolution, including root cause identification and implementing preventative action
  • Manage Critical daily Batch flows through multiple internal Systems with an appreciation of the full dataset and its impacts to users. Manage production incidents, resolve independently or ensure appropriate ownership within support and development teams (including accurate logging/ detail gathering for reporting purposes). Ensure clients and management are kept up to date.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with users, including Portfolio Managers and other internal and external groups.
  • Provide Operational decision support for the Trade Flows from beginning to end
  • Build a competent understanding of the technical infrastructure to contribute to its future development
  • Data analysis and SQL DB support for intra-day Investment support activities.

Minimal education level

Bachelor Degree / BSc Degree or equivalent

Academic qualification / Speciality

• CFA level 1 or Equivalent Business exposure to the mutual funds industry a plus

Technical skills required

• The ideal candidate(s) would ideally have 4+ years' experience in a customer-facing role within the investment management industry together with knowledge of financial instruments and the workflow between front, middle and back office applications.
• Strong knowledge of OMS, trading, performance and risk platforms would be advantageous
• Proven experience matching complex batch processes adapting to multiple technologies.
• Excellent knowledge of Equity, Fixed Income, FX, OTC, CDS and other Trading Instruments
• Full knowledge of end to end trade flows
• Excellent SQL and Excel skills
• Expertise in and ability to solve complex IT reliability issues in a fast paced and highly specialized financial services environment which requires specific business and financial acumen
• Appreciation of the monetary impact of reliable technical availability on business results
