Job summary

Who we are looking for

We are looking for a strong team player with excellent communication skills and has shown the ability to work as a link between internal and external clients and stakeholders. The successful candidate will be working on projects as well as daily activities. These daily activities will include creation and modification of portfolios for all locations within Amundi, manage the class action cases on behalf of Amundi and ensure the back office data from our external vendors feeds correctly into the Amundi platform and to all downstream consumers of that data. The ideal candidate will be able to manage multiple deadlines and prioritise the workload the job requires.

This role is a vital function in the overall global data management function. The team works with all business lines on a daily basis and contributes to the overall product & services that Amundi provide. The team itself have a strong customer service network that we actively work to enhance/develop and hence the ability to manage several deadlines and prioritise workload is important.


The team plays a primary role as a supplier and interacts with most areas of the business across multiple locations. This is reflective of the central and critical role of the Asset Data Management function for both internal and external clients.


What you will be responsible for 

  • Ensure integrity and accuracy of all referential data and flows, this includes completion of daily checks and other project workload
  • To understand the data flow and architecture of various platforms. This knowledge is essential for the delivery of services and understanding the potential for process improvement.
  • Ensure critical data issues and operational risks items are escalated as appropriate and are resolved in a timely manner by the relevant data management team.
  • Integration of all the data from providers (Data feeds), external (Ex: Fund Admin) & Internal sources
  • Continuous improvement of data processes from capture to control.
  • Monitoring of the data quality and be proactive in improving the overall data quality process
  • Constantly review existing processes to identify potential efficiencies and improve the process.
  • Build relationships with different stakeholders and supporting internal clients (investments, risk, performance etc)

Candidate criteria

Minimal education level

Bachelor Degree / BSc Degree or equivalent

Academic qualification / Speciality

Education & Preferred Qualifications

  • Minimum 4+-year financial operations experience.
  • Previous involvement in projects, record of meeting deadlines & driving improvements in previous day-to-day functions.
  • Efficiently manage deadlines and exhibit the ability to work independently
  • Track record of assuming responsibility and displaying ownership/Leadership.
  • Strong delivery focus on accuracy, quality and stakeholder service.

Required skills

What we value for the role

  • Have practical experience in working with security reference data and in particular knowledge of most security types.
  • Understand various fund structures and how they operate.
  • Experience working with databases including knowledge of SQL
  • Experience working with and solid understanding of Financial Instruments.
  • Problem solver – able to break down complex issues and co-ordinate multifaceted approach for solutions.
  • Efficiently manage deadlines and exhibit the ability to work independently
  • Good understanding of Data Governance Principles.
  • Previous experience working within projects.
  • Ability to interpret complicated procedure and processes, and experience in improving process flows.


Technical skills required

  • Experience working with and solid understanding of Financial Instruments.
  • Excellent communication, analytical and writing skills.
  • IT skills: SQL, strong grasp of Microsoft applications, experience with UI path and working within tool development projects.
